Forschungsinstitut Betriebliche Bildung (f-bb)
The Research Institute for Vocational Education [Forschungsinstitut Betriebliche Bildung (f-bb)] implements the IQ Competence Centre for Counselling and Job Training of Migrants. The institute carries out application-oriented research into professional education. Migration has been one of its fields of expertise for a long time. Current developments, such as a growing shortage of skilled workers, increased immigration and new legal regulations for credentials recognition render projects in this field more important. Alongside the "Analyses of Potentials in Educational Counselling for Immigrants" and "XENOS Panorama Alliance", for example , the IQ Competence Centre for Counselling and Job Training of Migrants is one of the projects within the Network "Integration through Qualification" with this focus.
